It details how we comply with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), the DPA (Data Protection Act).
This policy will explain areas of this website that may affect your privacy and personal details, how we process, collect, manage and store those details and how your rights under the GDPR & DPA are adhered to. Additionally, it will explain the use of cookies or software, advertising or commercial sponsorship from third parties and the download of any documents, files or software made available to you (if any) on this website. Further explanations may be provided for specific pages or features of this website in order to help you understand how we, this website and its third parties (if any) interact with you and your computer/device in order to serve it to you. Our contact information is provided if you have any questions.

- Your details have been collated from 3rd parties such as employer/publicly available resources
The Type Of Information Held About You
The information we hold about you may include:
- your personal details (such as your name/address/contact information);
- details of services/products we have provided;
- our correspondence and communications with you;
How Your Data May Be Used
We will keep your personal information:
- For as long as required by law
- Until we no longer have a valid reason for keeping it
- Until you request us to stop using it.
Your data will also be used to notify you of any changes to our services/products.
Data retention
Your data will only be held for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was initially collected.
Is Your Data Secure
We maintain reasonable physical, electronic, standard security practices surrounding all data stored. Access to all data is limited to authorised access only. We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that your privacy interests are protected.
Right To Withdraw Consent
If you have given us your consent to process your data but change your mind later, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. If you want to withdraw your consent, please contact us directly graffiti@wipeoutuk.co.uk.
Cookies and your choices
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Some are necessary to operate the website and remember your privacy choices. Optional cookies can contain identifiers and are not necessarily anonymous. Simply browsing this website does not mean that you consent to optional cookies.
Use the consent banner to Accept all, Reject optional, or View preferences. You can use the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page at any time to change or withdraw your choice. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent you from viewing our pages or contacting us. Withdrawal applies to future processing; it does not undo processing already carried out lawfully. Your browser also lets you inspect and delete cookies.
Necessary cookies
Avada uses the necessary privacy_embeds cookie to remember the choices you save and whether you have answered the banner. It lasts for 180 days. Older cmplz_ preference cookies may remain from our previous consent system until they expire or you delete them; they no longer control tracking. Website administration and security may also use necessary cookies; WordPress sign-in cookies apply to logged-in users.
Statistics: Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand interactions with our website through heatmaps and session replay, helping us improve our pages and services. Clarity can collect page addresses, clicks, scrolling, device and browser details and pseudonymous identifiers. We have enabled strict masking to reduce the content visible in recordings. Masking does not mean that all collected information is anonymous.
Clarity’s _clck cookie remembers a visitor identifier and preferences, while _clsk links page views into a session. These are optional analytics cookies. Clarity is not loaded until you enable Microsoft Clarity in Statistics. Its Consent V2 integration receives your separate analytics and Microsoft Advertising storage choices. Google Analytics is also loaded only after you enable its Statistics choice. Withdrawing analytics consent removes the corresponding first-party analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop the service. We honour supported Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals by keeping optional analytics disabled.
Google Analytics measures website visits and activity so that we can improve the site. Its optional _ga and _ga_* cookies distinguish browsers and maintain session information. Google receives technical and usage information when this service is enabled.
Marketing and Microsoft data use
Microsoft may receive personal data through Clarity for providing its services and Microsoft Advertising. Optional marketing storage is controlled separately by the Marketing choice. Microsoft cookies can include CLID, MUID, MR, SM and ANONCHK, for recognising browsers, advertising and related service functions. Their availability depends on your consent and browser settings.
For Microsoft’s current cookie details, see Clarity cookies. For how Microsoft collects, uses and retains information, international processing and your rights, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement. For Google, see Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s cookie information.
Sharing information
Our analytics providers receive information as explained above, according to your privacy choices. They may process information outside the UK under the safeguards described in their privacy notices. We also use service providers as needed to operate the website and respond to enquiries, and may disclose information where the law requires it. Please contact us using the details below if you have questions about your information.
Downloads & Media Files
Any downloadable documents, files or media made available on this website are provided to users at their own risk. While all precautions have been undertaken to ensure only genuine downloads are available users are advised to verify their authenticity using third party anti-virus software or similar applications.
We accept no responsibility for third party downloads and downloads provided by external third party websites and advise users to verify their authenticity using third party anti-virus software or similar applications.
Contact & Communication With us
Users contacting us through this website do so at their own discretion and provide any such personal details requested at their own risk. Your personal information is kept private and stored securely until a time it is no longer required or has no use.
Where we have clearly stated and made you aware of the fact, and where you have given your express permission, we may use your details to send you products/services information through a mailing list system. This is done in accordance with the regulations named in ‘The policy’ above.
External Website Links & Third Parties
Although we only look to include quality, safe and relevant external links, users are advised to adopt a policy of caution before clicking any external web links mentioned throughout this website. (External links are clickable text/banner/image links to other websites.)
Shortened URL’s; URL shortening is a technique used on the web to shorten URL’s (Uniform Resource Locators) to something substantially shorter. This technique is especially used in social media and looks similar to this (example: https://goo.gl/a46UYV). Users should take caution before clicking on shortened URL links and verify their authenticity before proceeding.
We cannot guarantee or verify the contents of any externally linked website despite our best efforts. Users should therefore note they click on external links at their own risk and we cannot be held liable for any damages or implications caused by visiting any external links mentioned.
Social Media Policy & Usage
We adopt a Social Media Policy to ensure our business and our staff conduct themselves accordingly online. While we may have official profiles on social media platforms, users are advised to verify authenticity of such profiles before engaging with, or sharing information with such profiles. We will never ask for user passwords or personal details on social media platforms. Users are advised to conduct themselves appropriately when engaging with us on social media.
There may be instances where our website features social sharing buttons, which help share web content directly from web pages to the respective social media platforms. You use social sharing buttons at your own discretion and accept that doing so may publish content to your social media profile feed or page.
Photo quote enquiries and optional AI assistance
Our JJ Contact widget lets you send your name, email, optional phone number, postcode or area, job details and selected photographs so Wipeout UK can review and respond to your enquiry. Sending an enquiry does not book work or accept a price. Photographs are stored in a private website inbox accessible to authorised administrators, rather than in the public Media Library. We remove image metadata when processing uploads. Please avoid uploading faces, number plates, private documents or other unnecessary personal information.
Enquiries and attached photos in this inbox are scheduled for deletion after 30 days. Copies in website backups may remain until those backups are rotated. If your enquiry becomes an ongoing job, relevant information may be retained separately to deliver the service and maintain business records.
The necessary jjc_session cookie lasts for up to two hours and helps secure the enquiry flow and prevent duplicate submissions. When you send a message using the AI chat, we save the messages you send and the assistant replies in a private inbox for our authorised team to review questions and improve the service, even if you do not submit an enquiry. These chat records are scheduled for deletion 30 days after their last activity. We record the furthest enquiry step reached, but do not save unfinished form fields or retain photos unless you submit an enquiry. Submitted enquiries include their own copy of the conversation. Session counts and conversion information, linked by a hashed session identifier rather than your name or contact details, are retained for up to 90 days. You can use the enquiry form without using AI chat. We also use short-lived, hashed network identifiers and request counters to limit spam and automated abuse.
If the optional AI assistant is enabled, it is clearly labelled. Your question, the job details you have entered and selected photos are sent to OpenAI only when you select “Send message”. You can send an enquiry to our team without using AI. We request that API responses are not stored for later retrieval; OpenAI may still retain data under its applicable processing and abuse-monitoring policies. See OpenAI’s privacy policy. AI comments are provisional and may be inaccurate; our team confirms all quotes.
WhatsApp, telephone and email buttons open the service you choose. WhatsApp is provided by Meta and is subject to its own privacy terms.

Chat privacy addendum — 27 October 2026
Our optional chatbot provides a Privacy details link before you send a message, rather than a consent checkbox. For new chats using this notice, we rely on our legitimate interests in answering service questions and reviewing chat quality to improve our answers and enquiry process. Messages, entered job details and selected photos are processed by OpenAI when you send a message. Chats may be reviewed by our authorised team even if you do not send an enquiry; chat transcripts are kept for 30 days after last activity and session counts and enquiry-stage statistics for up to 90 days. Unsubmitted photos are not retained in our inbox. OpenAI processing and backup retention are explained above.
You can use our enquiry form or telephone us without using AI chat. Please avoid sharing sensitive information or unnecessary details about other people. You can object to this processing or ask us to delete your chat by contacting graffiti@wipeoutuk.co.uk; supplying the approximate chat time and topic helps us find it. This change does not alter your optional analytics-cookie choices or retrospectively change the basis for earlier consent-based chats. Chat answers do not make binding quotes or booking decisions.
